So I saw Hot Tub Time Machine. Theater was packed, ha. Surprised I was able to get tickets. Anyways it was a great watch; in fact I am seeing it later tonight! One of the best lines from the movie. Craig Robinson is absolutely ridiculous.

Hey.  I watched Knocked Up today.  I liked it until the end and they showed the baby crowning.  Eyes!

Hi, everybody.

Has anyone seen "I Love Huckabees"?
I loved it. Ít's crazy, and it reminded me a bit of "Being John Malcovich", which I hated, but... I don't know. It's great. Any opinions on that?

V for Vendetta

Good story ideas, and not a bad plot, but it was a bit more bloody and violent than it needed to be, I thought. But that's just my humble opinion. I did really love the V character.
When the inspector is predicting the events that will start after V sends out the masks, it flashes to the little girl with glasses getting shot by a panicked officer. But then at the end of the movie, you see her take off her mask as she watches the explosion.

Ok, the girlfriend and I have a dilema. There's a movie that she really wants to see again but I don't know it. She doesn't know any of the actor's names, the title, or anything that anyone else might have been in.

This is the synopsis: two couples of husband and wife. One wife is a model, the other is a frumpyish home-maker. The model wife has always wanted to have kids but she can't, for whatever reason.
Frumpy wife is about to get hit by a car, but the model wife pushes her out of the way and takes the hit instead. What happends is the model wife's body ends up totalled, but her brain is still active and alive, while the other wife ends up getting brain damage from the push (er somethin).
Doctors tell the husbands that they can save the model wife by transplanting her brain into the frumpy wife, because she's toast anyway. Frumpy's husband totally refuses because he'd have to live in a world where he could see his wife, but it wouldn't be her.....refuses until he learns that the model tried saving frumpy's life, that is! So they do a transplant and the model wife lives in the frumpy body....there's some getting adjusted, but she can have kids now.

Ok, I'm going to leave it there because my girlfriend isn't home to correct anything that I'm wrong about, or to tell me how the movie ended. She thinks Sharon Stone might've been the model wife though, but we can't find the movie.

Now, WHAT IS THIS MOVIE? Thank you!!

P.S.She saw it on TV 15-20yrs ago, but doesn't think it was a made for TV movie.

I just joined this community after neglecting my livejournal for months. What a cool idea.

I recently watched Russian Ark and noticed one of the orchestra musicians was using tape to hold together his music sheets. Whoops! Not exactly fitting into the century there.

I'm looking for Livejournal friends.. none of my friends use LJ because they all prefer Myspace. Boo! I hate myspace.

If you friend me I'll friend you back. I'm going to be going to film school in the fall, so anyone in the same boat as me is doubly welcome.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

(we could be starting a trend)...

When Gandalf, Legolas, and Aragorn first enter King Theodin's golden hall Legolas is supporting Gandalf's right arm ( in a continuation of the "you would not deny an old man his walking stick" theme) ... when the shot cuts back to them they are still side by side but no longer linking arms.  In the third cut back to them before they start fighting their arms are linked again.

This is a blooper i've seen in the last movie of Lord of the Rings, and I was quite shocked when I saw it.

Near the end, when Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Merry and Pippin are at Sauron's gate, you see all of the soldiers ready to fight. If you watch closely, there's a soldier with a pair of glasses. And apparently, (I wasn't able to prove this) another one has brand new sneakers on his feet. O_O

Kinda funny how all the movies this month seem to be going on an old theme...anyway:
Watch the old black and white movies where the guys tap dance and you'll see their shoes change to tap shoes in different shots, and the tap shoes look completly different! They go from black to black and white.

  Another play/movie:
While Benjamin's walking through the airport at the beginning, listen to the comments over the P.A. in the background. They're really funny.
Example: This is a parking zone. Please do not leave your car unnatended.

P.S. I am really going to try to keep this more updated than it has been, but the more members the merrier. That way we don't go months at a time without a post. So tell your friends.

Hi - I just discovered this community and I can't even tell you how happy I was to find it!

So on to my first movie ... I know it's an oldie - but the first blooper I ever noticed on my own (back when I was still a kid, so I was quite pleased with myself)

At the wedding at the beginning of the movie there is a cup of soda that changes from half-full to full, and from iced to un-iced and back about 5 times in the course of one scene ...

Okay, the new movie is seriously awesome and has a wicked ending. That's all I'm gonna say for those of you who haven't seen it yet. (I've gone twice, and I'm on vacation!)
I saw an interesting documentery (not an oxymoron) the other night on the history channel that I want to recomend. It's called True Caribbean Pirates, and it's a history of pirating in the Caribbean. It really explains a lot that the movie doesn't and proves that Hollywood actually did their research for once.
Did you know, for example, that Port Royal was a real British city?

Narnia: The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe

I went to see Narnia again yesterday and since I had already seen it, I was looking for the finer points that I had missed. Here they are, my list of Narnia Bloopers and cool notes:
1. Peter's sword is always clean. Even after he drives it into someone in the battle scene, it's perfectly shiny.
2. Mr. Beaver gives Lucy her handkerchief saying Mr. Tumnus gave it to him before he was taken. But at the end, Tumnus gives the handkerchief back.

And now, some cool things I noticed that make sense if you've read the books:
1. The wardrobe has an apple tree carved on the door. (The Magician's Nephew-The wardrobe comes from a magic apple tree)
2.In the battle scene, an aisan/middle eastern looking man fights for the witch. Calamarian anyone? (The Horse And His Boy)
3. Above Susan's throne is a picture of a horn. She's later referred to as Susan of the Horn.

Welcome to the Blooper Reel! Here you can reveiw movies, share stories, exchange recipes for your favorite movie and more!
Please:
1. Keep it clean. You can have movies with any rating but leave the blood, guts and swearing off of here.
2. No celebrity crush gushing.
3. Same with celeb gossip. For who's married to who this month there are other communities.
4. Any movie is good.

Please have the title of the movie in the subject line. No limit on how much you can write. Go wild! Post your comments about the movie as comments, not posts.

Look for the speeding turtle if you need any help.
